Measurement Guide
To measure your head size, please make sure your hair is all pinned up and flat — prepared exactly as it would be right before applying the wig. You will need a soft tape measure. The circumference of your head is the most important size.
How to Measure
Circumference
Around the entire hairline — over the forehead, above the ears and around the nape. This is the single most important measurement.
Forehead to Nape
From the centre of your front hairline, straight over the crown, down to the nape of your neck.
Ear to Ear Across Front Hairline
From the front of one ear, along the hairline across the forehead, to the front of the other ear.
Ear to Ear (Over Top)
From the top of one ear, over the crown, to the top of the other ear.
Temple to Temple
Across the back of the head, from one temple around to the other.
Nape of Neck
The width of your hairline across the nape of the neck.
Average Cap Measurements
Most Lilly’s pieces are made to an Average cap with adjustable straps for a 1–2cm range. Use the guide below to choose Petite, Average or Large.
